In June Sheepwoman went to Pinerolo, in the Piedmont region of Italy. Every year an international festival of puppetry is hosted by the Teatro del Lavoro, a theatre and workshop space run by Damiano Privitera and Georgina Kustner. Performers and puppeteers came from Greece, Germany, New Zealand, Spain, Siberia, Czech Republic, Brazil, and various regions of Italy to live and work together, perform and party for ten days. It was an honour to meet so many wonderful artists and to be given the opportunity to present work despite not being officially in the programme.
